Earlier today, we brought you the first images of the 2007 Chrysler Sebring and 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. Chrysler has since released some videos of the new Sebring and Pacifica, plus a short video demonstrating the durability of its new “YES” cloth interior. All three videos after the jump…

That actually looks pretyy classy. Don’t know if it’s the video or what, but the profile seems a bit too marrow or the roofline is too tall. I’d recommend they lower it about an inch to even things out. Still, not horrible.

Yes, #4, thats what i was thinking, when watching the video of the sebring on the road, the car looks too tall. Its like the sebring is based on a crossover platform. The front end is kinda too high up. Hey, does anybody think it kinda looks like a Mercedes in the front end? Almost similar grill, too.

oh, why didnt they change the taillights style? All they changed was the headlights. Lazy, lame designers! At least, change the radio face and lift it from the 300 and Charger. That old radio face has been around for decades! Duhhh!!!

so now DCX is buying special fabrics with nano-particles of silver imbedded in the material. This is naturally anti-microbial, er anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and will be anti-mite, if you have any of those. But what it will do is eliminate the funky smell that some fabrics can get with wet clothes etc. Then they have added an anti-stain that will repel those pesky water stains. heheheeee.
Any who, silver nano-particles are the next big thing.
whooooo hooo.

The spec sheet on Chryslers web site says nothing about a manual transmission, but one of the spy shots of the interior shows a manual. What gives?

I think, if Chrysler can build enough Sebrings, that the US rental car companies have found the Taurus’ replacement as the mainstay medium sedan in their fleets.

Yeah, this is a car for 60 year olds. Everybody who’s anybody wouldn’t drive a car like that! Its only for old people! Old people suck! Booooh old people! They don’t matter, at all! They shouldn’t even have cars!

Buy a Malibu if you want a superior car for the same price as a Chrysler. Buy a Lamda or Trailblazer if you want to do donuts on the roof of the Pacifica. Go away Chrysler, GM owns your ass

the sebring is doing the opposite of growing on me, which is a weird effect. When I first saw clear pics of it, I thought it was acceptable looking, not as good as an altima or a mazda 6, but not ugly. Now… I really miss the 1996 model.

I want to like it but… it’s too high off the ground and the beltline is too high, comparative to the overall size and shape of the car.
Not hideous, and I certainly applaud it for being different, but it doesn’t flow as well as it could. A little bit too small for the design idea, I think. I wonder if the Dodge Avenger (Stratus replacement) will look better? Hopefully it’ll be lower to the ground…

I tried that water spill and pick up in my cars and it worked there too. I guess Audi and VW have been using this technology for a long time but not advertising it. Kudos to Chrysler!!
I also heard that because there are so many 2006 cars left unsold that in addition to the employee pricing Chrysler is offering a rebadging campaign. They will purchase 06 dealer cars and re-vin them and change the headlighs and call them 07 cars. You can get your own 06 rebadged through any 5-star dealer for 300 US.
