He’s probably gonna tell us about how his Chevy truck is gonna run over the M6, that is if he could get it started.

Where’s the clutch?

The response time of the trans is pretty bad, and I wonder if it will actually allow you to downshift even though “it might hurt the engine”

i still say its ugly. waste of what is probably going to be 110k. seems to handle better than our mini wind tunnel test showed, which is a plus.

Indi, the M6 uses the latest SMG technology. Speed channel had a test drive with three M models (M6, M5, Z4M coupe & convertible). The program will be aired again over the next few weeks. One part had champion racer Hans Stuck driving the car while talking about how smooth, efficient and fast the shifts were in the M6. He mentioned how it finds the perfect RPMs and allows for perfect shifts done better than any professional driver could do on their own. Coming from an extremely accomplished professional driver like Hans Stuck I tend to believe the M6 SMG shifts will be better than any manually shifting novice driver of this vehicle.

Guarantee if you drive this thing you all will think its worth the cash and will overlook the bangle design. It’s hot. For the money though, I’d get the 997 C4S. My personal preference though.

BMW, no matter how good a car it may be, will never have that soul that makes you lust for this car. Its just too cold and German to be visceral.

its just not a car i would want to take out for a spirited jaunt. in the words of richard hammond “look at it gently.” just too much like a rich MILF car on coke.

all a load of balls, its a nice car, but awkward looking and not worth the money, at the end of the day why buy an over engineered BMW when u can have a ferrari, gallardo or db9 thats still cracking to drive and much more exotic…..and wont depreciate like a lead weight……oh and who aired this video of me on my test drive (yes i drive like a pansy). Its a fricking BMW for over £100K ppl who buy this are quite simply stupid!!!!

Best yet, buy an XLR if you want a real car, it will run circles around this thing and look 1 million times better doing it

Where is the Audi guy.
They usually show up to bash BMW whenever there is a BMW thread.
I think it comes from years of A$$ whoopens.

Although they might be doin’ some whoopen with that new R8. That will inturn get it’s whoopen from the C6 Z06………………..haha.

Hey #12, that it just bizarre. (pre-Bangle)BMW and essentially most German makes are the defintion of soul. It is an anomoly: COLD GERMAN GENIUS PRODUCES WARM FRIENDLY CARS. AN ANOMOLY! Look at Porsche! Look at VW! Look at Merc! Look at Audi! All these cars are STRANGELY endearing!
