Chrysler has announced that its Vice President-Communications, Jason Vines, has resigned. Vines started with Chrysler in 1983, but left the company in 1998 for stints with Nissan and Ford before returning to Chrysler in 2003 in his current position.
“This was a tough decision, considering the many talented, longtime friends I have throughout the company,” Vines said. “I wish them all the best and will continue to root for them.”
Vines will remain at Chrysler through December and will be replaced by Nancy Rae –Chrysler’s Senior Vice President-Human Resources.

I think new management kicked him out. Not that he’s no good or anything. Cerberus wanted their peeps to be on top. That’s what happens with new management.

2nd vote for autonut’s point. And Veda’s. But in all truth, I’ll bet Nardelli just gave his henchman a nod in Vine’s direction and said ‘ I want that one out of here’.
