The new Jetta will be wider than the actual Jetta A5 and a little bit longer.
The car will be lighter than the actual Jetta A5 improoving fuel efficiency.

This new car has nothing to do with the Golf A6.

The complete car is develop at our taste, new interior including seats no carry over from Golf A6.

This car will be very nice option making it the biggest of his segment. Ciciv, Corolla ,

I think Skoda should go against the Japanese and Koreans, VW then can move upscale to match Buick? Seat would be the “Mazda” of VW. Audi, Lambo and Bentley can stay as is.

that article even states the Jetta is still on the same modular platform shared with the rabbit/golf . The jetta has always been more or less a Golf Sedan, in fact when it first came out thats what it was called. Anywho, on the car itself, im not fond of the fact its gettin Bigger. I thought they wanted this to compete with the Corolla and Civic, but a more upscale alternative. VW needs to find its place in life and stick to it. They keep attempting to upscale but at the same time they wanna go cheaper to compete with the japanese and koreans… Cant do both VW

I agree with mitzo – this does look significantly bigger than the older ones. Come on VW, don’t be like everyone else and keep adding weight to your dang cars… next thing we know the car will weigh 3600 lbs and the tdi will only get 35mpg hwy. Remember when the Jetta weighed 3000lbs and got 50mpg? (aka 2000-2005). Granted there were drawbacks to that generation, but still.

Typical VW, looks bland but not ugly. Unlike Toyota’s that look bland and ugly. Is there a 3 series out there looking for it’s taillights?

Actually the Mommy Likes to be Spanked series and Animal Planet have a lot in common. Both are well noted for their gratuitous beaver shots.

The best part about Vol. VII was it’s bonus feature with Vicky, other than that it was a let down from the fantastic cinematography of the fourth and fifth of the Mommy Likes to be Spanked series.
