Volkswagen said today it expects to slash up to 20,000 jobs in Germany. “We continue to incur significant losses on cars exported from Germany to the U.S.A.,” said CEO Bernd Pischetsreider. In January, Ford announced it would lay-off 30,000 workers. In October, GM announced a similar plan, which also involves 30,000 job cuts.
