The problem with small, light cheap cars is that they can not pass all of the safety tests (that is why it took lotus so long to get back over here). With just 3 wheels this thing is a "motorcycle", so no need to do crash testing. THis will save a lot of cash in getting this to market. So no matter what top is on it, if you live in a state with a helmet law you would need to put one on for this thing. But given how i would drive it, i would be happy to wear my helmet.
