I think VW quality is great! I leased a brand new 2003 GTI. The car self-destructed after six months of ownership. Electrical problems, engine problems, transmission problems and countless pieces of cheap, brittle plastic that snapped off in my hands. The sales people I dealt with were idiots and the service departments were inept. As far as I'm concerned, I'll never drive another VW again, coupe or not.
