Can I add that Leftwing makes some of the most sense on this website which freaks me out a little?

Angry Dragon – Chinese don’t drive “American” cars BTW – American badged cars yes, but most of their Buick models come from and are designed in Korea, Australia and Germany – far from American. Dumb@ass.

steve333 – Never drove a VW/Audi I guess, you’d figure it out with their nice interiors and engaging rides.

Way to misrepresent Noam Chomsky… I really doubt he was referring to privately owned websites that are moderated in order to keep things civil, rather than censor free speech.

Plus the people who get banned, are usually banned because they are being extremely rude and disruptive, not because they are advocating ideas that the moderators are against.

They do have money. Last year I was in China, I think I saw more S Classes than the C Class. More Audi than Mercs and Bimmers. At least it’s not Toyota that they’re spending their money on.

the first amendment doesn’t apply to a 3rd party’s website, they can moderate whatever they like because its their property…”freedom of speech” wasn’t intended to allow nerdrage to flow boundlessly throughout the internet…on your own website you’re free to say whatever you like, within the boundaries of the law and the terms of service of your web host (and there are boundaries)…on somebody else’s website, not so much…play by their rules, or take a hike…those are the only options…

think of it like a party hosted by LLN…you came to their party…if you come to their party and cause trouble for them, they have every right to shut you up, it’s their party…

Or as Noam Chomsky said: “If you believe in freedom of speech, you believe in freedom of speech for views you don’t like. If you’re in favor of freedom of speech, that means you’re in favor of freedom of speech precisely for views you despise.”

Bodyshop and labor are cheap in China. For ppl who can afford VW, BMW, etc in China, reliability isn’t a big problem.. Many of them hire their own drivers, maintenance is done by the driver too.

VW is a cheap brand in China too and made in almost 100% in china. but this isn’t a surprise news anyways, china is already the biggest auto market.. I guess most brands sell more in China than anywhere else.
