Either way... the Phaeton is technically speaking, a phenomenal car, but it has some inherent flaws that really don't have anything to do with the car itself. First of all... at $60K, it's priced out of reach from most Americans. But then, those who are fortunate enough to afford one are also mainly a bunch of badge-whores and wouldn't think of buying something with a VW badge on it... even if it is a better car than most of those with three-point stars or gold-plated "Ls." Had I that sort of money to piss away on a car... I'd surely buy one of these over any Mercedes, BMW, or Lexus.
