As far as the folks that purchased the cars they will be considered innocent 3rd parties by the State of California in this instance. The only way VW Credit could take away a car they purchased in good faith would be if VW Credit could prove conspiracy to commit fraud on the part of the purchaser. VW Credit will have to submit a claim against OC Lambo’s dealer surety bond.
