Recently, we noted the excellent residual value projections for the Pontiac Solstice, in addition to the product lines from BMW and Mini. But the 2006 Automotive Lease Guide doesn’t bring all good news. Among the worst cars listed by the ALG and Kelley Blue Book are the Chrysler Sebring, Jaguar X-Type, Kia Rio and various minivans. Kelley says a Rio is worth just 22 percent of its window-sticker price after five years; ALG says it’s worst of any model, at a mere 15 percent. The Sebring sedan retails just 19 percent of its original value, and the Jaguar X-Type isn’t far behind at 21 percent.
