This is nothing like a Z4, get real. And it’s a whole lot more reliable than Blackpool’s new Russian TVR cars. For a start, the electrics work (what there are of them). And it handles as well as a Lotus. Seriously. A serious Brit roadster, just, well, German. It is a work of art as well as engineering. Those with prejudices…Beware.

Definitely more like a TVR than Z4 other than both have 2 doors. As for the sequential, somebody needs to learn their cars, thats the BMW tranny with a boot around it. Just look at the wheel, if it was a 6 speed there would be no need for paddles. And the price is about what the used cars are selling for in Europe right now, last ones I saw on the Wiessman site was just over 125k E so about 200-215K USD. This is also the car they are working on bringing to the US market in late 08 or 09.

this is a stunning car-
raineman- even if they did just take a Z4 coupe and did whatever to it-
are you saying you aren’t impressed either with the Shelby Cobra 427, since it’s also just an ordinary car with a big V8 and some suspension work done to it.

A lot of the BMW higher ups buy these things. Supposedly beautifully built and go like a scalded cat; reminds me of a retro TVR.

Oh the Wiesmann. How can I explain thee? lol They certainly produce unique vehicles, and I like the looks of this a lot. I like how they try to incorporate a modern looks with a classic roadster form. (although those lights look they were taken straight from TVR) And this one seems to packing some good performance. I guarantee you’d be one of the only people on the block to have this car. Yet another toy for the ultra rich.

So they took a new BMW Z4 Coupe… stretched the front end… and slapped a V10 under there. Am I the only one who is not impressed?
