With a focus on energy conservation during the upcoming 2006 G8 Summit, the Russian government has purchased 30 four-passenger GEM electric vehicles to transport participating government leaders. Each e4 GEM electric vehicle will be decorated with the official 2006 G8 Summit logo and the national flag of the U.S., Russia, Britain, France, Japan, Germany, Canada or Italy. Energy conservation, along with healthcare and education, are expected to be the main topics of discussion during the conference.
