The term ‘performance bargain’ can be applied to any model in the Chevrolet Corvette range, but perhaps is most fitting when discussing the mighty ZR1. With 638 horsepower on tap and a Nurburgring lap time of 7 minutes 22 seconds, no European sports car on this side of $200,000 can even come close to [...]

When it goes on sale in September, the 2010 GMC Terrain will list from $24,995 for a front-wheel-drive model and $26,745 for all-wheel-drive – including the mandatory $745 destination charge. Though GMC hasn’t detailed specifications, the Terrain will list for about $1,800 more than its Theta platform-mate Chevrolet Equinox, which Leftlane recently drove.

Chevrolet’s all-new 2010 Camaro is back with a vengeance, dethroning the Ford Mustang as the best-selling pony car during the month of June. The Camaro was one of the loan bright spots for General Motors as demand for the Camaro nearly doubled the automaker’s expectations.

Chevrolet managed to sell 9,320 examples of the Camaro last [...]

Toyota may have one of the best reputations for quality around, but the Japanese automaker has found itself at the center of a firestorm involving potentially defective Prius headlights. Hundreds of previous-generation Prius owners have filed complaints with the U.S. Transportation Department, claiming the hybrid’s headlights prematurely expire, leaving owners with enormous repair costs.

Lightning must strike every ten years or so in Dearborn since that was the last time we saw a Taurus SHO roll out of a Ford factory. The polarizing style of the jellybean-shaped Taurus was one that you either loved or hated, but by 1999, the car was merely a shadow of its former self.

A long time coming, but it’s finally here: The 2010 Ford Taurus. The one that Ford’s Alan Mulally said should have been built in the first place. Gone is the J Mays-influenced Passat-on-’roids cum Ford Five Hundred with enough headroom for a stovepipe hat worn by none other than honest Abe himself.
