In February, former video game company executive Stefan Eriksson very publicly destroyed his million dollar Ferrari Enzo in a crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in California. In June, we told you about an Enzo that got pretty badly beat up when its drive lost control in Seoul. Now, it appears another Ferrari Enzo has been destroyed. A Provo man touring Utah as part of the four-day Utah Fast Pass Road Rally crashed his custom T-Top Enzo while traveling about 200 mph. The ‘Road Rally’ event takes place on regular highways, but is closed off to the general public. Highway police clock the drivers’ speeds and give them “speeding tickets,” which go to charity.
Update: (From the Ferrari Chat forums) “From the horses mouth – Richard was going close to 200mph, and hit a bump in the road that sent him airborne. The car rolled 7 times and was flat as a pancake. Fortunetly he was wearing a helmet. He has cracked vertebrae in his neck and back, 4 broken ribs, broken sternum, some broken fingers, and the only surgery he made need is on his thumb. Nothing life threatening. He is refusing pain medication because he thinks he needs to be punished!”
