Australia’s Drive finally got some behind the wheel of the recently-introduced 2007 Holden VE Commodore. The review is particularly interesting because the new VE Commodore is the first car to be built on GM’s new Zeta rear-wheel-drive architecture. The platform will eventually be used for the production Chevrolet Camaro , as well as several other rear-wheel drive GM models, including the Impala and Pontiac GTO. The Drive praises a stiff body, near 50:50 weight balance, a high degree of refinement, good manual and automatic six-speed transmissions, and more.
