2007 Volvo S80

Volvo has officially announced its much-anticipated 2007 S80 luxury sedan. The S80 is the largest of Volvo's S-range of saloons, and the company says this second-generation S80 offers a "competitive alternative to the dominant, German luxury saloon rivals thanks to its own distinctive Scandinavian style, combined with excellent ride and handling characteristics benchmarked against the class leaders." Engine choices include a new Volvo 315hp V8 with AWD and 3.2L naturally aspirated inline-six-cylinder with 238 horsepower. Prices will be announced in the spring. The car will be on display at the Geneva auto show in March.
