New 2007 Land Rover Freelander details, spy shot

The new Land Rover Freelander will break cover at the Paris Motor Show in September, according to an Edmunds report published today. However, Auto Express yesterday reported that the vehicle will make its world debut at the British Motor Show in July. The new truck rides on a modified C1 platform, which also underpins the Euro Ford Focus, Volvo S40, and Mazda 3. The proposed Volvo XC50 SUV is also expected to ride on this platform, which means it will likely have some similarities to the Freelander.
