Alfa Romeo prices 8C

Alfa Romeo has released European market pricing for its upcoming 8C supercar: 159,300 euros, or about $219,500 at current exchange rates. This pricing puts the 8C a little below standard supercar pricing, but still in line with cars like the Porsche 911 Turbo.

The $219,500 figure is not a good estimate of what the 8C will sell for when the expected 99 Alfas allocated for the United States and Canada arrive on North American soil. The Lamborghini Gallardo starts around 185,000 euros, but sells for $175,000 in the U.S. If that figure is any indication, we'd expect around a $160,000 price for the 8C. Still, rumors indicate that all of the 99 allocated cars have been pre-sold.
