Ferrari wait list in UK at least 2 years

Ferrari has been considered one of the premier automakers on planet Earth for some time now, but the supercar marque has really caught on in the UK in recent years. The UK is now Ferrari's third largest market -- behind the U.S. and Germany -- and now has a waiting list at least 24 months long.

Ferrari reported record sales in 2007, and it looks like that trend will continue into 2008. According to What Car, prospective buyers in the UK of Ferrari's 612 Scaglietti will have to wait about two years, and that's the shortest waiting list of all the Ferrari models.

For the brand's 599 model, UK buyers will have to wait 36 months. For the 430 Coupe and Spider, the waiting list is a more manageable 30 months.

In 2007, Ferrari sold 699 vehicles, up from 128 in 1992.
