SEMA Live: Audi takes to Vegas with custom Q5

To honor the 30th anniversary of its quattro all-wheel-drive, Audi showed off a matte black, high-horsepower Q5 crossover.

More than 40 SEMA aftermarket shows have passed in Las Vegas with an appearance from Germany's Audi, but the luxury automaker decided to make 2010 its debut to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Boasting a more conservative, typically Teutonic approach to vehicle customizing, the automaker debuted a matte gray, 408-horsepower Q5 crossover dubbed "Custom Concept."

Featuring a modified 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine with an active exhaust system and a modified air intake, the Q5 offers a considerable horsepower boost from the standard 333 pony setup in the S4.

Outside, the Q5 is swathed in a unique Daytona Gray matte shade with bright red accents on the roof rails, wheels, front skirt and rear spoiler.
