Infiniti teases electrified mystery concept for Pebble Beach

The concept aims to highlight Infiniti\'s desire to pair a thrilling driving experience with electrified powertrains.

Infiniti has teased a new concept vehicle that will make its official debut at Pebble Beach.

Like the retro Prototype 9 and Q Inspiration, the Pebble Beach mystery concept highlights the luxury brand's vision for an electrified future.

"Our new concept provides clues to where the INFINITI brand is heading. For us, electrification means performance - our electrified cars will be powerful, efficient, and a joy to drive, and the new concept is a physical representation of our electrified performance future," says Infiniti design director Karim Habib.

The teaser suggests the concept will be a bold design study, rather than a close-to-production car. In any case, the company insists the concept will provide a glimpse into its future pairing of an engaging driving experience with electric powertrains.

The concept will make its full debut on August 23.
