Ford issues separate recalls for Explorer, Super Duty pickups, Expedition, Lincoln Nautilus

Most of the campaigns affect small batches of a few hundred vehicles from the 2018-2019 model years.

Ford has announced four recall campaigns for several different models, all from the 2018-2019 model years.

Around 160 Explorers with 2.3- and 3.5-liter GTDI engines are being recalled to replace a misassembled fuel pressure sensor that may result in a fuel leak.

A batch of just four Super Duty pickups was built with a transmission casing that may be missing material around where the park pawl engages, potentially causing the vehicle to move while in 'park.'

Approximately 38,000 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs may have been built with missing J-channel reinforcement brackets on the second-row seat tracks, while a few hundred Lincoln Nautilus vehicles will receive new driver airbag modules to replace injection-molded plastic covers that may separate during deployment.

Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to any of the defects.
