Boring Co ready to reveal autonomous transport vehicle

The cars will be revealed on December 18 when the company opens its test tunnel.

Elon Musk has announced that Boring Co's December 18 product launch will be more than just a tunnel opening.

The company will also reveal "modded but fully road legal" autonomous transport cars and ground-to-tunnel car elevators.

Previous concept renderings have pointed to an autonomous skate platform that can be used to transport cars or passenger pods at 125-150 miles per hour in urban settings at atmospheric pressure.

The company also recently posted a unique job opening for a Monty Python-themed knight to stand in a watchtower made of Boring Co's spoils blocks and "yell insults at people in a French accent."
