The GT Speed is now the fastest production Bentley ever, reaching a top speed of 206 mph.Bentley has revised the Continental GT Speed and introduced a new Black Edition package.Engineers managed to squeeze a bit more power from the Speed's 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine, bumping output up to 642 PS (633 horsepower) from 635 PS (626 horsepower). The tuning revision also adds 15 lb-ft of torque across the entire rev range, for a total of 620 lb-ft.
The extra power has reduced the coupe's zero-to-60 mph acceleration benchmark to just 3.9 seconds, while making it the fastest production Bentley ever with a top speed of 206 mph.
Available for both coupe and convertible bodystyles, the Black Edition package features a gloss-black finish for exterior brightware including the window openings and lamp bezels. All-black 21-inch five-spoke wheels and unique brake calipers -- in red or black -- help complete the look.
The exterior also features several contrast colors for the front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser. Available hues include Hallmark, Beluga, St. James' Red and Cyber Yellow.
The interior has been outfitted with plenty of carbon-fiber elements, providing a dark contrast against split-color upholstery and contrast stitching in Porpoise, Beluga, Pillar Box Red or Cyber Yellow.
Bentley expects to begin customer deliveries this summer.
