BMW will highlight its M performance division at this year's SEMA show.BMW has announced that it will travel to this week's SEMA Show in Las Vegas to display new M Performance Parts for its all-new M5 sedan. The German automaker will also show a special one-off edition of its smaller M3 performance sedan.BMW hasn't detailed what M Performance Parts will be on display in Las Vegas for its new M5 sedan, but the automaker says the parts were "developed using BMW M motorsport know-how and underscore the high-performance sedan's sporty and luxurious appearance, while also fulfilling functional requirements in terms of aerodynamics, cooling and lightweight construction."
As a reminder, the 2018 M5 is already a scorching performer out of the box thanks to a twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 developing 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Shifting through an eight-speed auto and a newly developed all-wheel drive system, the new M5 can scoot from 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds.
BMW will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original M3's 1987 United States launch in Vegas with a new one-off known as the 2018 BMW M3 30 Years American Edition. BMW has so far only released a few teaser images of the one-of-a-kind M3, but we can clearly see a bespoke interior design from BMW Individual and a set of carbon ceramic brakes.
BMW's latest wares will take to the SEMA stage on October 31.
