Bugatti delivers first US Chiron in Pebble Beach

The $2.998 million car is finished in a bold yellow and black color scheme.

Buggati has delivered its first US-market Chiron at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

The venue highlights California's importance for the ultra-exclusive brand. The state presumably accounts for a large portion of Bugatti sales in North America, the company's second-largest sales market behind Europe.

"Almost 30 percent of all the orders received for the Bugatti Chiron come from this region," the automaker says.

The first US Chiron was ordered in a striking color scheme pairing bright yellow and 'Nocturne' black. The interior continues the theme with yellow and Beluga Black leather.

The example will likely be joined by other Chirons in California in the next few years, each fetching at least $2.998 million.
