Chevrolet has released a new video starring its 2014 Camaro.

General Motors' Chevrolet division has released a new walkaround video detailing the changes to the 2014 Camaro. Chevrolet introduced the redesigned 2014 Camaro, along with an all-new Z/28 model, at the recent New York auto show.

In the video Chevrolet marketing manager John Fitzpatrick explains that one of the main goals of the Camaro's 2014 redesign was to better differentiate V6 and V8 model. Fitzpatrick also notes that Chevy designers wanted to give the sporty RS model a bit more flair.

But while the 2014 Camaro puts a wider gap between V6 and V8 models, the new generation of the pony car moves the SS model closer to its top-end Z/28 and ZL1 brethren. Elements once exclusive to the top-dog ZL1 - including a "mohawk" hood-mounted air extractor and aggressive front fascia - have found their way to the SS for the 2014 model year.

The video also shows off the Camaro's new LED taillights, which have garnered mixed reviews.
