The Redline package is only offered on cars finished in Billet Silver, Bright White, Granite Crystal and Pitch Black.
Dodge traveled to the Chicago Auto Show to unveil the 2013 Challenger R/T Redline and R/T Plus Redline.
The Redline's exterior draws inspiration from the Rallye Redline model that debuted last year. Only offered on cars finished in Billet Silver, Bright White, Granite Crystal and Pitch Black, the package adds a two-tone stripe to both sides of the car, bespoke 20-inch alloy wheels finished in black chrome and a lowered suspension.
R/T Redline models are exclusively offered with performance seats upholstered in Dark Slate Gray. R/T Plus models can be ordered with the aforementioned performance seats or with premium Nappa leather units that can be covered in Radar Red or Dark Slate Gray.
R/T Plus models come with a wide selection of standard features including heated front seats, six Boston Acoustics speakers with a 276-watt amplifier, power heated mirrors and Chrysler's ParkSense rear park assist system.
While the Rallye Redline was powered by a 305-horsepower V6, the Redline utilizes a potent 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that makes 375 horsepower and 410 lb-ft. of torque when linked to a six-speed manual transmission. Thanks in part to a free-flowing performance exhaust system, the engine propels the Challenger from zero to 60 mph in under 5.5 seconds.
Alternatively, buyers can order the coupe with a five-speed automatic transmission which lowers the engine's power output to 372 ponies and 400 lb-ft. of twist.
Available to order this spring, the Redline package carries a base price of $1,995.
