New range-topping European model outfitted with keyless entry, nav system, rain-sensing wipers, among other features.

Ford has introduced a new range-topping model in its Fiesta lineup for the European market, adding a range of tech features to the existing ST-2 build. The ST-3 lists a navigation system, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and power-fold door mirrors among its standard features. Drivers can also benefit from keyless entry, cruise control and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Ford suggests the ST-2 edition has surpassed sales expectations, however customers expressed interest in a higher series model outfitted with a full complement of upgrade options.

The enhancements do not extend to the powertrain, however, as the ST-3 integrates the same 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder mill as the standard ST package. The engine delivers 197 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the front wheels via six-speed manual transmission.

Buyers will be able to choose from five exterior colors: Frozen White, Race Red, Panther Black, Spirit Blue or Molten Orange. Contrasting interior themes include Molten Orange or Smoke Storm.

The Fiesta ST-3 is expected to arrive in the UK in June with a £19,250 (~$32,350 USD) price tag. The European ST is offered as a three-door hatchback, rather than the five-door model that is available in the US. It is unclear if Ford plans to expand availability for the European build to other markets.
