The 2017 model year brings new packages, a better stereo system and other upgrades.

Ford has introduced new packages and standard features for the 2017 Shelby GT350 Mustang.The Track Package now comes standard, adding an aluminum tower brace, high-downforce trunk lid spoiler, MagneRide dampers and fluid coolers for the engine, transmission and differential lubricants.

A new Electronics Package brings Sync 3, voice-activated navigation and an upgraded stereo system, while a Convenience Package features the same upgrades but swaps the Recaro manual seats for leather-trimmed power sport seats.

The company has upgraded the available audio system, replacing the previous seven-speaker setup with an improved nine-speaker layout. The system is available with the Electronics, Convenience and R-Electronics packages.

Buyers can also choose from three new exterior paint colors: Ruby Red Metallic, Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue. Deep Impact Blue and Competition Orange have been dropped from the lineup.

The 2017 Shelby GT350 will begin arriving in showrooms later this year.
