The Blue Oval is still not saying what exactly is hidden behind the Hellcat rival's grille.
The front shot highlights the GT500's massive Shelby grille, providing plenty of room for unrestricted air intake and an intercooler.
The previous GT500 was no slouch, delivering over 660 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque from its 5.4-liter supercharged V8. The new model will bump output into the 700-pony bracket.
Rumors disagree over what, exactly, will be found under the new GT500's hood. Some reports point to a 5.0-liter EcoBoost V8 with up to 755 horsepower, while others expect another supercharged V8 or a detuned version of the GT's 3.5-liter mill.
Additional details will presumably continue to trickle into public view ahead of an official debut.
