Honda's refreshed Fit has landed in showrooms for the 2018 model year.
The popular hatchback gains a new Sport trim (pictured), distinguished by a unique front spoiler and rear diffuser, bright orange pin-striping, 16-inch gloss-black wheels and orange contrast stitching throughout the black interior.
Honda's latest Sensing safety and assistance technologies are now available on all 2018 Fit models and standard on EX or higher trim levels. The suite includes adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation and lane departure warning.
Drivers can also take advantage of a seven-inch Display Audio touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The system is standard on Fit Sport, EX and EX-L trims.
Other upgrades include a retuned suspension system, more rigid steering and an acoustic glass windshield.
The 2018 Fit LX starts at $17,065 (including $875 freight), marking a slight increase of $100 compared to the 2017 edition. A CVT adds $800, while the Honda Sensing tech costs an additional $1,000. The new Sport edition starts at $18,375 with a six-speed manual transmission.
