Lincoln teasers all-new Aviator, confirms New York unveiling

The Aviator could help invigorate Lincoln sales as the luxury brand struggles to achieve positive growth.

Lincoln has released a brief teaser video for the all-new Aviator, due to be revealed in the coming weeks.

"The Aviator, which will make its world debut at the New York International Auto Show, is the first of two all-new utilities that Lincoln will bring to market in the next two years as it grows its utility portfolio and commits to electrification across its lineup globally," the company says.

The video shows a few tight-zoom shots of the Aviator badge and bold grille with a glowing Lincoln logo.

Additional details are being kept under wraps for now. The company promises the vehicle on display in New York represents a "production preview."
