Lotus adds Exige Sport 410 with 410 horsepower

The new model slots between the Exige Sport 350 and the Exige Cup 430.

Lotus has launched yet another Exige variant, the Sport 410, that will slot between the Sport 350 and Cup 430 editions.

As the name implies, the Sport 410's supercharged 3.5-liter V6 has been tuned to deliver 410 horsepower and 7,000 rpm and 310 pound-feet of torque from 3,000 rpm to 7,000 rpm.

Engineers have implemented the company's latest lightweight technologies, including plenty of carbon fiber, and 331 pounds of downforce.

The British sports car builder claims the Sport 410 will launch to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and eventually hit 180 mph, on par with the flagship Cup 430.

"We have taken the Exige Cup 430, the ultimate track-centric Exige, and developed it into the perfect road orientated sports car, ensuring that we stay ahead of rivals when it comes to cars that deliver a truly engaging analog driving experience," says CEO Jean-Marc Gales.

The Exige Sport 410 will be available in both coupe and roadster configurations.
