Engineers have squeezed 385 horsepower from the 3.0-liter V6.
Mercedes-AMG has detailed its updated C 43 Sedan, adding more power for the 2019 model year.
The C 43's 3.0-liter biturbo V6 has been retuned to deliver 385 horsepower (up 23 ponies) and 384 pound-feet of torque, launching the sedan to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds.
Exhaust is routed through round twin tailpipes shrouded by a new bumper, while the front end has received a new twin-blade grille and a few other minor tweaks.
The German automaker credits the C 43 with helping drive success of the AMG brand, serving as a new entry-level model since its launch in 2015.
"The high demand and positive feedback have encouraged us to sharpen up not only the appearance of the facelift, but also its performance, efficiency and dynamism in true AMG style," says Mercedes-AMG chairman Tobias Moers.
