Nissan partners with ICON on factory-backed Titan lift kit

The kit will provide up to three-inches of lift over the Titan's factory setting.

Nissan has announced that it will soon offer a factory-authorized suspension lift kit for select version of its Titan and Titan XD pickup trucks.

The bolt-on lift kit was designed by ICON Vehicle Dynamics and will be available as a dealer add-on. The kit will be available on Titan and Titan XD Crew Cab 4x4 models and will provide up to three-inches of suspension lift, improving the Titan's ground clearance.

"We worked with ICON, a proven name in suspension lift-kit engineering, to develop the first kits to be offered through our Nissan dealer network," said Billy Hayes, division vice president, LCV and Trucks, Nissan North America, Inc. "They came back to us with a kit that is easy to install, maintains Titan and Titan XD's impressive factory payload and towing capabilities, and allows the trucks to be returned to stock for resale or end-of-lease return.”

The kit includes adjustable-height coil-over shocks, as well as custom rod end bearings and new Delta joints. Nissan says the kit's longer-travel shocks and improved damping should enhance the Titan's ride both on- and off-road.

Installing the lift kit will not void the Titan's 5-year/100,000 mile warranty. The lift kit itself is backed by a separate warranty provided by ICON Vehicle Dynamics. Nissan has not released pricing information for the lift kit, but the company says it will be available through its dealer network starting this spring.
