It could be a Ranger Raptor rival.
Launched at the 2018 Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Show in the UK, the Navara Off-Roader AT32 has been enhanced with a higher ride height, a locking front differential, and chunky tires. The AT32 name is a nod to Arctic Trucks, which co-developed the truck with Nissan, and the size of its off-road tires.
The truck's suspension had been lifted by .79 inches, while approach angle has been increased from 30.4 to 35 degrees, and breakover angle has been increased from 22.2 to 24 degrees. Skid plates underneath protect the oil pan, transmission, driveshaft and fuel tank. An air intake snorkel heightens wading depth by 7.9 inches. No mention of powertrain improvements were made, so presumably the AT32 will come with the 2.3-liter turbo diesel, rated at 188 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque.
By comparison, the Ranger Raptor makes 210 horsepower and 368 lb-ft. However, the Navara AT32 has a 2.5 degree advantage on its approach angle.
Arctic Trucks is based in Iceland and is perhaps most well known for outfitting Toyota Hilux pickups famously used by Top Gear to traverse to the North Pole.
Unfortunately, the Navara AT32 appears to be Europe-only for now.
