Porsche offers 'subscription' program starting at $2,000/month

Stepping up to the $3,000 subscription provides access to the 911 Carrera S, Panamera 4S, Macan GTS and Cayenne S E-Hybrid, among other model variants.

Porsche has announced a subscription program that provides flexible access to nearly two dozen model variants via flat monthly fees.

The entry-level Passport Launch program includes eight model variants including the 718 Boxster and Cayman S, along with the Macan S and Cayenne. Subscribers can switch between the different cars for $2,000 per month.

The 'Accelerate' group expands to 22 different model variants including the 911 Carrera S, Panamera 4S, Macan GTS and Cayenne S E-Hybrid, among others, for $3,000 per month.

Membership plans cover vehicle tax and registration, insurance, maintenance and detailing. Both plans require a $500 activation fee and approval is dependent on background and credit checks.

Participants can pick up the requested model in metro Atlanta beginning next month. Future vehicle exchanges can be arranged via the Porsche Passport app.

"Our Strategy 2025 vision is to be the most aspirational brand in a new era of mobility and consumer expectations," says PCNA chief Klaus Zellmer. "Catering to customers' desire to experience our sports cars in new ways is a part of our core strategy."
