The company cautions that the vehicle "will not go into series production," but instead demonstrates how sporty future models might be.
The production-bound Mission E integrates a similar battery with a much longer expected range of 311 miles. Drivers can expect to charge up to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.
The electric Cayman will be on display at the Electric Vehicle Symposium in Stuttgart.
