Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced pricing and launch details for the 2017 Ram Power Wagon.
The revamped off-roader now starts at $53,015 (including $1,320 freight), representing an increase of around $500 compared to the outgoing Ram 2500 Power Wagon.
The 2017 edition boasts a 12,000 Warn winch, Bilstein shocks, five-link rear coil-spring suspension, an electronic disconnecting sway bar, electric locking front and rear differentials and under-chassis armor. It is easy to spot from a distance, thanks to Rebel-inspired styling and 33-inch tires.
All variants are powered by FCA's 6.4-liter HEMI V8, delivering 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque.
The range-topping Laramie trim has been dropped in favor of a Leather & Luxury package, adding $4,495 to the base price. Enhancements include an 8.4-inch Uconnect system, Alpine speakers and subwoofer, heated/ventilated seats and plenty of driver-assistance systems, among other upgrades.
The first examples are expected to begin arriving in showrooms by the end of the year.
