Base model now starts at $17,035 (including $820 freight).

Volkswagen has announced pricing details for its full range of 2015 Jetta models.

Reflecting a modest refresh for the latest model year, the compact sedans get a slight price increase over the outgoing models.

The base model with a 2.0-liter engine now fetches $17,035 (including $820 freight), marking a $445 premium over the entry-level 2014 edition.

The company expects most buyers to opt for the better-equipped S trim, which fetches $19,245 with a six-speed automatic transmission. The entry-level 1.8T model, known as the SE, now commands $19,815 with a five-speed manual transmission.

For the ultimate in Jetta fuel efficiency, buyers will have to pay $22,460 for the TDI Clean Diesel variant.

All of the refreshed offerings will arrive in dealerships toward the end of the year.
