Chevy is celebrating 65 years of Corvette with a new limited edition model.

It's been 65 years since the first Chevrolet Corvette rolled off the assembly line and the Detroit-based automaker is celebrating the occasion with a new limited edition of the iconic sports car.Called the Corvette Carbon 65 Edition, the commemorative package will be available on 2018 Grand Sport and Z06 models, including coupes and convertibles. Chevy says it will limit the Carbon 65 Edition package to just 650 units.

All Corvette Carbon 65 Edition models will feature Ceramic Matrix Gray exterior paint, black wheels and blue brake calipers. Convertible models will be fitted with a blue top.

Other perks of the package include unique fender stripes and door graphics, exposed carbon fiber body components, competitions sport seats covered in jet black suede with blue stitching, carbon fiber steering wheel and interior carbon fiber accent pieces.

The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Carbon 65 Edition is on display now at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and will go on sale during the first quarter of 2018. Chevy has not announced pricing for the Carbon 65 Edition package.
