Summer stop: 2011 Ault Park Concours d'Eleganceby Drew Johnson
Continuing our summer stop tradition, we just got back from the 2011 Ault Park Concours d'Elegance with a mega photo gallery in tow.
The dog days of summer are officially upon us, which can only mean one thing - it's car show season. While we may not be jet setting off to Geneva or New York to see the auto industry's latest creations, we decided to swing by the 2011 Ault Park Concours d'Elegance to check out some classics from yesteryear.
The Ault Park Concours is one of the larger regional shows, attracting hundreds of classic cars from across the U.S. and Canada. This year's show featured plenty red, thanks to its theme of "Red Hot Rides - Ferraris and Fire Engines".
In addition to a plethora of Ferraris, the 2011 version of the show featured a wide variety of cars, ranging from a 1911 Indy race car to a factory fresh Honda Prelude to the Batmobile. One of our favorites was the Alfa 8C -- a modern classic in our books -- but thumb through our gallery to find a best of show of your own.
