Tesla to build fourth Gigafactory in Europe?

Tesla is reportedly engaged in discussions to establish a Gigafactory in Europe.

The company is involved in talks with officials from Germany and the Netherlands, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Tesla chief Elon Musk recently singled out Germany as the top choice in Europe. The company already has operations headquartered in Pruem, where Tesla Grohmann Automation is based.

The California-based automaker recently announced plans to build another factory in China.

With Model 3 production recently reaching 5,000 units per week in Fremont, Tesla intends to build several more Gigafactories to support a much higher overall production volume for global markets ahead of the Model Y debut.
