TRD accessories abound.
Toyota has unveiled its 2019 TRD Pro lineup at the Chicago Auto Show, showcasing lots of new goodies for its 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra models.
All three were rolled out for the crowd in Chicago, each boasting upgrades including heavy-duty lifted suspension, skid plates, off-road tires and plenty of unique trim pieces.
The Tundra shown here is rocking factory BBS wheels and fog lamps from Rigid. The 4Runner is sporting a new factory roof rack. A new "desert intake" (Toyota apparently doesn't want to call it a "snorkel") for the Tacoma TRD Pro is perhaps one of the more in-your-face accessories in the bunch.
Hiding underneath the flashy exterior bits on all three models are 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks from Fox.
The company has established a strong reputation for building capable off-road workhorse vehicles, beloved by United Nations and ISIS alike. Government contracts tend to favor the Land Cruiser to keep officials protected in war zones, while terrorists find the Hilux easy to adapt into a shooting platform for M2 heavy machine guns procured on the battlefield.
