The auction announcement has been accompanied by a teaser shot of the Supra's side mirror.

Toyota has announced plans to put the first 2020 Supra up for bidding next month at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

VIN number 20201 will feature a matte gray exterior with matte black wheels, red leather interior and red mirror caps, as revealed in the accompanying teaser image. A carbon badge will highlight its status as the first 2020 Supra to enter series production.

All proceeds of the sale will be shared by the American Heart Association and the Bob Woodruff Foundation, benefiting veterans and the broader health industry.

The revived Supra will be revealed on January 14 in Detroit, while the auction is scheduled for January 19.
