Toyota teases GR Super Sport Concept

The concept appears to be an endurance racer, hinting at Toyota\'s entry in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.

Toyota has teased the GR Super Sport Concept, due to be revealed at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2018.

The Super Sport appears to take the form of a WEC endurance racer; "one example of how technological feedback acquired through motorsports activities is incorporated," the company says.

The company has selected the theme "Meister's Workshop" for the upcoming auto show, highlighting cars that have competed in various motorsports endeavors such as the Yaris WRC and TS050 Hybrid.

The show will be used to reveal the Gazoo Racing entry for the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, scheduled for May.
