GGR has put a lot more pep in the Fiesta ST's step.

For those UK buyers looking for a little more grunt from their Fiesta ST, Graham Goode Racing (GGR) has announced a new package that promises to seriously crank up the performance factor of Ford's smallest hot hatch.

The UK-spec Ford Fiesta ST is already a potent little package, delivering 180 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque from its turbocharged 1.6L EcoBoost motor, but GGR has discovered that there is still plenty of room for improvement. After successfully rolling out a Fiesta ST225 package, which upped the ante to 225 horsepower, GGR is now launching a 240 horsepower Fiesta ST240 package.

In addition to those 60 extra ponies, the package also improves torque from 214 lb-ft to 253 lb-ft. GGR didn't release any performance figures, but the ST240 should be significantly faster than a bone stock Ford Fiesta ST.

In order to achieve those power improvements, GGR totally overhauled the Fiesta ST's intake system and also reprogrammed the car's ECU. The upgrade is reasonably priced at £728.98 ($1,180), which includes installation and a 20 percent VAT.

The GGR package isn't offered through Ford so be warned that the upgrade will probably compromise the Fiesta ST's factory warranty. However, a factory-backed super mini could be on the way as Ford is reportedly developing a high-performance Fiesta RS model.
