Wrong pedal? Porsche 911 Targa blasts through brick wall

Police suggest cellphone distraction may have been a contributing factor.

A Porsche 911 Targa 4S owner has been cited for careless driving after crashing through the brick wall of a parking lot in England.

Photographs show the Porsche sitting nearly vertically on its nose after dropping from the parking lot onto a walkway below. Luckily, no pedestrians were crossing below at the time.

"The police had cordoned off the area but there was no ambulance or fire service there," local resident Nicole Rose told The Telegraph. "Just a lot of men working out how they were going to move it."

A crane was apparently used to hoist the car back onto the roadway.
